Hillsdale County Early Middle College
Hillsdale County Early Middle College is a combined high school and college program for Hillsdale County students. Based out of Jackson College Hillsdale, the HCEMC program serves eight school districts in Hillsdale County in partnership with the Hillsdale County ISD. The program is funded by students’ State of Michigan per-pupil foundation allowance.
Application Details
Students must apply for the program in their 10th grade year. The application opens in early January and closes in late February. After completing the application, students and parents will participate in an interview with a panel of EMC collaborators in March. Students must then attend the mandatory orientation in May. Students will then begin the program in 11th grade if accepted.
